Statement
I: What has occupied my mind in the last fifteen years as an orchestra conductor on the one hand and as a theater music designer on the other hand, is to find an answer to the question: “What can make the performance of an artistic work an inner revelation for transform the performer and the audience and by creating an active communication network and creating moments of meeting, fuel a psychological tension between the performer and the audience?”
II: Improvisation has been one of the usual methods in dealing with the natural and instinctive process of music throughout history. Especially in the music and art of the East (where I belong and understand its relations very well). In the process of improvisation, all the focus is on the performer and his perception and connection with the world outside him. Improvisation is the result of a dynamic relationship between the performer’s knowledge and technique, his senses and understanding of his human feelings (which are affected by the surrounding world and its geography) on the one hand (as his inner world), and other performers and the acoustics of the space in which he is placed. and the audience from the other side (as his external world). So what makes improvisation alive and mysterious is the constant maintenance of these complex and fluid connections at every moment.
This is exactly what I look for in “revelations” projects. Creating an instinctive and natural connection between the performer, the artwork, and the audience! These projects are not a kind of musical practice or ensemble; They simply mean achieving freedom in individual creativity; The possibility of “meeting and working together” and trying to make a meaningful connection between artistic activities and natural intuition and instinct.

Revelations
After 15 years of official activity in the field of classical and contemporary music, in February 2018 and in its last stage performance, “Nilper Orchestra” announced the end of the activities of this orchestra as an orchestral organization, and from April 2019, by posing a fundamental question (what is performance? or why do we perform?), started designing a different structure to deal with music performance activities. A structure based on practice, experience and research; “Revelations” is the first project of Nilpar experimental orchestra in this new direction.
